On behalf of the Canadian Journal of Anesthesia Editor in Chief Selection Committee, chaired by Dr Daniel Bainbridge, it is my pleasure to announce the appointment of Dr. Stephan Schwarz as the next CJA Editor in Chief, as of January 1, 2021. Dr Schwarz will assume the position as Dr Hilary Grocott ends his outstanding 7 year term on December 31, 2020. It is extremely helpful that Dr. Grocott will have the next five months to onboard Dr Schwarz, and we look forward to continued success with the journal moving forward.
