10th Annual APT Research Day – May 12th, 2016

On behalf of the APT Research Day Organizing Committee, we are pleased to wish everyone a happy new year and announce our Department’s 10th Annual Research Day!

As per the previous years, graduate students, residents, post-doctoral & clinical fellow from our Department will have an opportunity to showcase their work as oral presentations or posters with monetary prizes and bragging rights for the best in each category.  So start thinking about presenting your work!  In addition, we will have the privilege of hosting Dr. Greg Hare who is a Staff Anesthesiologist at St. Michael’s Hospital and is Professor of Anesthesia at the University of Toronto.  Dr. Hare’s research is focused on defining adaptive, and maladaptive, cerebral and cardiovascular regulatory mechanisms in experimental models of acute hemodilution. He has developed integrative whole animal models to study the adaptive physiological responses to acute hemodilution in wildtype and transgenic animals.
