Family Practice Anesthesia Residency Program

The UBC Family Practice Anesthesia Program offers anesthesia training to family physicians committed to working in rural communities in British Columbia. It enrolls 5 residents per year. At the end of their one year of training, graduates are eligible for their Certificate of Added Competence from the College of Family Physicians of Canada and are prepared for independent anesthesia practice. This is a fully accredited residency training program under the umbrella of the Enhanced Skills Programs, within the Department of Family Practice.
