Shamir is a staff anesthesiologist at Vancouver Coastal Health. He trained in anesthesiology and critical care medicine in London, UK before moving toCanada. He is currently co-lead for the sub-specialty division of anesthesia for major abdominal oncological surgery at VGH, and co-lead for the VGHresident airway rotation.
