
Faculty Bio
Colin Dormuth has nearly 20 years of experience using administrative health care databases to evaluate drug safety, pharmaceutical policy changes and physician prescribing behaviour. He has been an Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia since 2007, and a member of the Therapeutics Initiative since 1995. He has training in epidemiology, economic theory, applied econometrics, health services outcome research and biostatistics. Dr. Dormuth holds Sc.D. and S.M. degrees in epidemiology from Harvard University, an M.A. in economics from the University of Victoria, and a B.A. in economics from the University of Manitoba.
