Edmond Li

Ed joined the anesthesiology department at Royal Columbian Hospital in 2021 after completing anesthesiology residency in Saskatoon and Masters in Health Sciences at UBC under the Clinician Investigator Program. During his masters, he conducted a cost-effectiveness analysis of a data-driven triage platform piloted in Uganda using decision-analytic modelling. The results were submitted to the Ugandan Ministry of Health for scale-up of this platform. He is currently co-lead of the acute pain service and perioperative anesthesiology at RCH. His research and quality improvement interests include: perioperative risk stratification, post-operative monitoring, and regional anesthesia.
