APT Research Day – Keynote Talk: Dr. Ronit Lavi (Video)

Our Guest Judge and Keynote Speaker for the 2015 APT Research Day was Dr. Ronit Lavi, a world-renowned Anesthesiologist and Researcher affiliated with the Department of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine at Western University in London, Ontario. Dr. Lavi has also held key academic positions within the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry such as Anesthesiology Residents Research Director, and is now Chair of her Department’s Academic Affairs committee. Her many research interests include Patent Foramen Ovale, post-operative delirium as well as the use of inhaled anesthetics in heart conditioning. She publishes her work in leading international and local journals, such as the American Heart Journal, Circulation and the Canadian Journal of Anesthesia.
