APT Research Day 2017

On behalf of the APT Research Day Organizing Committee, we are pleased to wish everyone a happy new year and announce our Department’s 11th Annual Research Day!

As per the previous years, graduate students, residents, post-doctoral & clinical fellow from our Department will have an opportunity to showcase their work as oral presentations or posters with monetary prizes and bragging rights for the best in each category.  So start thinking about presenting your work!

In addition, we will have the privilege of hosting Dr. Orlando Hung who is a Professor in the Department of Anesthesia, Pain Management & Perioperative Medicine at Dalhousie University.  His research focuses on airway management, clinical pharmacology and drug delivery systems. Through collaborations with other clinicians and scientists at Dalhousie, Stanford, and the University of Toronto, Dr. Hung has developed and patented a number of innovative drug delivery systems and medical devices.

An independent review committee will judge the submitted papers, and the winner will be announced during the APT Research Day.

Research Day, Scientific Sessions & Cocktail will be held on: Thursday May 11th, 2017 at Life Sciences Centre

Registration & Abstract Deadline: Monday March 20th, 2017 (Submission form can be found here)

This year again we will also be hosting an ‘APT paper of the year’ competition. More details to follow.

And as usual, all this PLUS good food, good wine and good company. More details to follow!
